Tex Reynolds’ Toys for Tots, along with the Corporate Volunteer Council of Racine’s “The Giving Tree” announce the Helping Families Program for 2024
TO PARTICIPATE:
Please provide the following items when registering:
- Proof that you are a resident of Racine County and parent or guardian of the child/children.
- Driver’s License or Photo ID of parent or guardian.
- ONE of the following items per child:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Medical Card
- Immunization Card
Please note that gifts are provided to children from birth through age 10.
NOTE: Tex Reynolds’ Toys for Tots does not share your personal information with any other person, agency, organization, business, etc.
Our 2024 program is using the following financial guidelines:
Family Unit / Weekly Gross Income- Family of 1: $579.23
- Family of 2: $786.15
- Family of 3: $993.08
- Family of 4: $1,200.00
- Family of 5: $1,406.92
- Family of 6: $ 1,613.85
- Family of 7: $1,820.77
- Family of 8: $2,027.69
TO PARTICIPATE AND REGISTER:
Apply in person at the City Hall Annex Building located at 800 Center Street (downstairs) between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting October 1 through December 10 (final day for registration). Registration is also available on Saturday, October 5; Saturday, November 2; Monday, December 2; Saturday, December 7 and Monday, December 9.
- Closed the week of November 20-24 for Thanksgiving.
- The last distribution (pick-up) day is Saturday, December 9.
- Recipients can apply only once per year.
- Availability of gifts dependent upon registration numbers.
The Corporate Volunteer Council of Racine’s “The Giving Tree” will also accept registrations beginning October 1, 2024, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tex Reynolds Toys for Tots Gallery
TEX REYNOLDS’ TOYS FOR TOTS NEEDS SUPPORT
The Tex Reynolds’ Toys for Tots workshop is currently open from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to prepare gifts for Christmas. Days are reduced to Wednesdays only from June through August. New volunteers are always welcome. The mission of Tex Reynolds’ Toys for Tots is to serve Racine County families by providing Christmas toys to those in need. Registration for children from birth through age 10 begins in October. Flyers with details are distributed throughout the community in September. For the past 90 years, this hometown organization has relied on the community for donations of new, used and repairable toys of all kinds. Toy donations for the program can be taken to any Racine County Fire Station east of the interstate, dropped in the red shed at Kortendick Ace Hardware at 3806 Douglas Ave (place in red shed) or brought to the workshop during business hours.
Monetary donations are also vital to support the operation of this non-profit organization and can be mailed to Tex Reynolds’ Toys for Tots – 800 Center Street – Racine, WI 53403.
